AC Milan are set to hijack Arsenal’s deal for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, reports the Daily Star.

Khedira Arsenal: Sami Khedira has finally agreed to join Arsenal in January in a cut price move from Real Madrid.
The German international has, according to a number of reports, already agreed personal terms with Arsenal ahead of a proposed switch to North London in January.
The Gunners are yet to finalise a transfer fee with Real Madrid however, and Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi is still hopeful of snagging the Los Blancos man.
Madrid would rather not lose the World Cup winner for nothing next summer, so will be hoping to cash in on him in January if possible. Khedira is thought to prefer a switch to the Premier League over Serie A, but if Arsenal and Real can’t come to an agreement then his preferences will count for very little.
Milan have been struggling for form recently and Inzaghi believes Khedira could be part of the solution. The Rossoneri missed out on Champions League this year after a woeful last season. Finishing eighth in Serie A and falling way behind current champions Juventus.
