Chelsea’s Diego Costa has taken a sly dig at Arsene Wenger after his confrontation with Jose Mourinho during Arsenal’s 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

After a red card worthy challenge from Blues defender Gary Cahill on Alexis Sanchez, the Arsenal boss marched into Mourinho’s technical area to complain to the referee. The Portuguese manager squared up to the Frenchman, who responded by pushing the Chelsea man as tempers flared at the Bridge.
When asked by Marca about the incident, Costa jokingly responded, “He [Mourinho] was fine afterwards. I don’t think Wenger did any lasting damage!”
The Spain international continued his fine early season form, scoring Chelsea’s second goal and really putting the game out of Arsenal’s reach.
There were a number of other controversial moments throughout the London derby, with a number of players lucky to stay on the field including Alexis Sanchez who somehow escaped punishment for swinging a punch at Branislav Ivanovic.
