Despite being undefeated in Lique 1 and beating Barcelona 3-2 in last week’s Champions League tie, Blanc is under pressure after his side drew six of their first nine games in the French First Division and currently sit third in the table.

This has led to reports that Mancini, who is without a job after leaving Galatasaray in the summer, could replace the former France boss.

However, the Italian was reluctant to comment on the reports and insists he has a great deal of respect for what Blanc has done at the Parc des Princes.

“I think there is a good coach there,” the 49-year-old trainer told a forum in Qatar. “[Blanc] runs PSG well and he won the French league last year.

“I know nothing more. Maybe I will coach in France – or somewhere else. Everything is possible in football.”

Mancini has won a wide variety of silverware during his managerial career, winning the Premier League title with Manchester City and three Scudetto’s at Inter Milan.

He joined Galatasaray last season, signing a three year contract but both parties decided to cancel the deal in June due to a dispute over the Turkish club’s transfer policy.
