By all accounts the Stamford Bridge side would demand £30m for the 27 year old and Carlo Ancelotti may well be ready to fork out such a sum for the Brazilian.
The Italian manager brought Ramires to Chelsea during his time in charge of the west London side and as such is clearly a fan of the box to box performer, who could be seen as a replacement for Sami Khedira.
The German is out of contract next summer and Ancelotti may feel Ramires will offer a strong option in the centre of the park, something the Bernabeu side may be keen to add to their numbers given Xabi Alonso left for Bayern Munich in August.
Ramires has been a virtual ever present at Chelsea for his first four seasons at the club, racking up nearly 200 appearances in the process, however this season he’s started just two of the club’s seven Premier League fixtures and as such could be tempted by a move to join Real Madrid.
