Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been ruled out of Friday’s clash with Andorra with a bruised toe, but coach Marc Wilmots believes he should be fit in time for next week’s clash with Bosnia, the Daily Mirror reports.

The manager took to Twitter to confirm the winger’s injury would not play against the minnows, but stressed that it was only a precaution and not a serious problem.

Wilmots revealed this week that Manchester City’s Vincent Kompany and Jan Vertonghen of Spurs will start in their first competitive match for their country since the World Cup.

Kompany said: “For a defender, it is easier to play against Brazil than this match. But there is work to be done.

“We can’t give them any chances or give the ball away to their strikers.

“We will have to pick the lock to their defence without getting caught. It will not be an easy match.”
