Despite retiring from football at the end of the 2012/13 season Jamie Carragher has admitted that he turned up at Liverpool’s training ground Melwood expecting to play.

The Sky Sports pundit took to Twitter to reveal his gaffe to the world, explaining that it was simply a moment of absent mindedness.
