Emirates Stadium & White Hart Lane sides pursue powerful forward.
Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly both keen to land Fenerbahce forward Emmanuel Emenike according to the talkSPORT.
The Nigerian international has been a moderate success in the Turkish capital, netting 13 goals in 32 Super Lig appearances, and had previously enjoyed a successful spell in Russia with Spartak Moscow and would no doubt jump at the chance of a move to the Premier League.
Whilst one can see why Mauricio Pochettino would be looking to strengthen his attack it’s not so clear as to what the 27 year old could offer to greatly improve on the options Arsene Wenger has at the Emirates Stadium.
Wenger brought in Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck to boost his front-line and will have Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott to call upon when both are fully fit.
Tottenham on the other hand have struggled for goals this term with the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Harry Kane, Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado netting just one Premier League goal between them thus far this season.
