The Vancouver Whitecaps beat the Seattle Sounders 1-0 last night to lift the Cascadia Cup for the 5th time in their history.
The result came as a bit of a shock – Seattle are joint top of the Western Conference and are one of the standout favourites to win the MLS Cup in December.

The winning goal came in the 45th minute courtesy of Gambian striker Kekuta Manneh. It was his fourth goal of the 2014 MLS season.
