Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling is set to commit his future to the club by agreeing a new long term deal, the Daily Express reports.

The 19-year-old, who has been in sensational form for club and country over the past few months, has attracted the interest of some of Europe’s leading lights, including Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
A new deal would see Sterling’s wages take a huge bump up from the reported £43,000-per-week he earns now. It is believed Sterling will sign a new five-year deal which will see him pocket £125,000 a week.
The news comes after an apparent breakthrough in negotiations, which should put rumours of a switch overseas to bed.
Manager Brendan Rodgers last week spoke of his confidence in getting the 19-year-old to commit his future by saying; “His agent is good and he understands this is the perfect place for him.
“It’s not a big issue for us. Ian Ayre has spoken with his representatives and he is quite relaxed.
“The boy is happy here, there are no secondary thoughts about anything else other than continuing to play for Liverpool.
