Twitter users accuse City of trolling their Premier League title rivals.
It’s fair to say that Chelsea fans were unhappy when club legend Frank Lampard left at 13 years of solid service this summer. It’s also fair to say they were made even more unhappy by seeing him link up with Manchester City, and they are now undoubtedly even unhappier upon learning that he has been named as City’s Player of the Month for September.

Lampard has been in top form for City, scoring freely and playing more regularly than most thought he would, and he has been duly rewarded for his efforts.
And whilst Chelsea fans are disgusted, everyone else just thinks it’s hilarious and City have been given huge props for trolling their Premier League rivals mercilessly.
