German tabloid Bild have today claimed that Mesut Ozil has split from girlfriend Mandy Capristo.

What’s more it’s suggested by Levante right-back Christian Lell that the Arsenal playmaker has been having an ongoing affair with his former girlfriend Melanie Rickinger.
As if to back up this claim it appears that Miss Capristo has removed all photographic evidence of her relationship with Ozil from her Instagram account.
This situation could perhaps have some bearing on the poor form displayed by Ozil, who is currently out with a knee injury that is likely to sideline the World Cup winner for three months.
Oh, and today is Ozil’s 26th birthday!
