It wasn’t a transfer shopping spree though… Instead, it was a groceries shopping spree.

Every year, ex-Houston Dynamo player Brian Ching honours eight people who have contributed significant amounts of time and energy into the local community.
The ‘Ching’s Champions’ each receive a four minute shopping spree around local supermarket chain Kroger. This year, current Dynamo players helped out – assisting the champions in snagging more than $7,700 worth of food.
