Brazilian league leaders Cruzeiro have lost consecutive games for the first time this season, and have now lost four of their last eight.

They welcome a relegation-threatened Vitoria on Sunday, desperate to return to the form that has put them within sight of successive league titles.

They will be boosted by the returns of Lucas Silva, Mayke and Marcelo Moreno – all of whom sat out their Copa do Brasil triumph over ABC in midweek. Nilton is suspended and will miss out. Vitoria are unlikely to alter their side too much, despite a 1-0 loss at home to Colombian side Club Atletico Nacional in the Copa Sudamericana on Thursday, though Adriano could replace Vinicius in midfield.

Elsewhere in Brazil’s Campeonato, Flamengo travel to Atletico Paranaense, Palmeiras host Santos, and Internacional welcome Corinthians.

Kick-off in Vitoria’s Estadio Manoel Barradas is at 4:30pm EDT / 1:30pm PDT on Sunday.
