The 18 year old FC Porto striker is considered one of the hottest prospects in Portuguese football and has been likened to Cristiano Ronaldo and news that he has rejected a new contract offer will certainly have led to an upsurge in interest in the teenager.
Silva impressed many at the European Under 19 Championships this summer, when he netted five goals and helped his side to the final though he is yet to play a senior match for FC Porto and as such is still something of an unknown quantity.
