Sterling impressed as his side won at Loftus Road.
All eyes were on Liverpool wonderkid Raheem Sterling this afternoon after the tiredness controversy of his recent England duty – but the teenager played well, creating the winning goal, as the Reds edged past Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. It was a special day for Sterling, who played for Rangers until he was 15 and made the move North to Liverpool, with the player sharing a picture of himself back in his Rangers days following the Liverpool victory.
