Lampard has endeared himself to the supporters at the Etihad Stadium since his surprise move to the club in a loan move from MLS side New York City FC this summer, both on and off the pitch.

City are known for their great charity and community work, and Lampard is now keen to get involved, playing in a wheelchair football session with young fans.

The ‘One City’ initiative, is funded with help from the Premier League and BT Sport’s The Supporters Club, and aims to provide free access to football to  1,00 young people with disabilities.

The legendary midfielder also took part in a BT Sport documentary which focussed on the club’s work in the community.
