Anfield faithful lay into beleaguered Italian international.
Poor Mario Balotelli. Despite the Reds eking past a valiant QPR on Sunday, the majority of their ire was directed at him as he once again failed to make an impact when they really needed him.

With Luis Suarez out of the picture, and Daniel Sturridge’s ongoing injury problems, manager Brendan Rodgers is desperate to find a spark that will bring his Liverpool side to life – but sadly, Balotelli has not been able to do that so far.
Two QPR own goals cancelled out a brace of excellent Eduardo Vargas strikes, but Balotelli had his own chances to give the Reds some breathing space, and fans took to Twitter to express their annoyance at his continuing failure to deliver the goods.
Liverpool must be delighted it went in off the defender… No question Mario would have missed the open goal… #Fact

I’m struggling to remember seeing a worse performance by an #LFC player than Balotelli’s today. Maybe Carroll v Bolton away.

If Balotelli starts on Wednesday night, i will demand BR sacked! NO WAY can he start after that shambles of a performance! #LFC #Disgrace

Cannot believe we just won that but I’ll take the win whatever way it comes. 90 minutes of Balotelli is like playing with 10 men. #LFC

Mario Balotelli is the complete anti christ of a Liverpool player (especially a Rodgers LFC player). Selfish and all about him #LFC

I’m nailing my colours to the mast ! I never want to see Balotelli in a Liverpool shirt again. He offers us nothing #LFC

Balotelli should be a sub player, should never start any game anymore. He’s crap

Don’t care how limited he is Lambert must start in front of that lazy wanker Balotelli on Wednesday #LFC

‘OG’ proving a more prolific and reliable striker than Balotelli for #LFC
