Free agent keeper set to complete Old Trafford move.
Victor Valdes has apparently been spotted in Manchester ahead of a free transfer move to Man United according to the Daily Express.
The 32 year old will offer Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal a strong back-up to David de Gea and Valdes would offer Man United a very cost effective option in that regard.
Valdes apparently spent the day working with United physios, proving his fitness, the former Barcelona man being a free agent since the summer.
The keeper’s agent Gines Carvajal and another representatives have been holding talks with Man United in recent days and van Gaal wants a deal completed as soon as possible.
Such a move would surely spell the end of Anders Lindegaard’s Man United career, the Dane barely getting a look-in at present with Spaniard de Gea being in sparkling form over the past couple of years.
