Everton manager Roberto Martinez tells Manchester United Ross Barkley is not for sale

The Toffees boss has sent out a message to interested parties Liverpool, Manchester City and United that Barkley will not be leaving Goodison Park.

The England international has been linked with a £40m departure from his current club, but Martinez is not ready to part with the 20-year-old.

“As a football club we want John [Stones] and Ross to keep progressing, keep developing and they know they can do that with Everton. And that’s the only thing that matters to me,” the Spaniard was quoted by the Daily Star.
