Calhanoglu showed of his play-making skills in midweek when he provided the assists for both goals in Leverkusen’s 2-0 win against Zenit St Petersburg in the Champions League. He also grabbed the winning goal in his side’s 1-0 win over Schalke 04 on Saturday.
With a number of Liverpool’s summer signings failing to live up to expectations so far, the Premier League side may be wondering if they made a massive mistake by not signing the Leverkusen star.
