Spurs close in on ex-Premier League enforcer.
Tottenham Hotspur are said to be closing in on a deal to sign former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra on a fee transfer, according to French newspaper L’Equipe.

The midfielder is out of contract having left Lokomotiv Moscow and has been linked with a return to play in France with Marseille, one of the clubs previously stated as being interested.
Diarra agreed a deal to join Premier League bottom club Queens Park Rangers in September, and even successfully completed a medical, only for the deal to fall through at the last minute.
Reports are suggesting that Spurs’ offer comprises of a healthy financial package with several lucrative ad ons based on bonuses and performances, though it is said that those details could be what hold the deal up.
At 29 years old, this could be the Frenchman’s last big move, though he will still feel that he has something to offer.
