The Belgian starlet has sent shockwaves through Europe by refusing to commit his future to PSV as he holds out for something bigger and better.

And as a result PSV chief Phillip Cocu has decided to freeze him out of first team duties, demoting him to the club’s under-21 side.

Bakkali made 16 appearances for the senior team last campaign, netting three along the way – but hasn’t been used once in PSV’s opening ten games.

His desire to move abroad is likely to see the Premier League big hitters battle it out amongst each other for his signature in the new year, but they have competition in the shape of Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.
