Footballing legend Diego Maradona has found himself in some serious trouble after an Argentinian TV station aired footage of him hitting his then fiancé Rocio Oliva.

In the video released by “Nosotros al Mediodia,” of Canal 13TV, a seemingly drunk Diego Maradona is seen making his way from the couch to confront the 24-year-old over her constant cell phone use.
In the video a clearly drunk Maradona appears to strike Oliva and the footage cuts out as she pleads with him to stop striking her.
When asked to explain his actions the World Cup winner said; “Yes, I threw the phone but I swear to God that I have never raised my hand against a women.
“The episode started and ended like that. I admit to throwing the phone, but nothing else.”
