The Spanish giants look set to beat the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Barcelona to the German international’s signature, despite strong speculation that he could make the move to the Premier League next season.

Reus has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga in recent times, and is widely regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe on top form, seeing him linked with a host of top clubs.

Available for just £20m next summer due to a clause in his contract, it is no surprise to see clubs queuing up to sign the 25-year-old, who would undoubtedly be a bargain at that kind of price.

Still, United and other big names look set to miss out on this exciting transfer, with Real seemingly managing to strike a deal ahead of next summer’s transfer window, which will see Reus make the move to the Bernabeu instead of Old Trafford, the Allianz Arena or the Nou Camp.

Reus scored 23 goals in 43 appearances for Dortmund last season, but missed the World Cup through injury.
