Arsenal Target Moves Closer To Exit After Training-Ground Fight With Teammate

It usually takes till the spring for Marcelo Bielsa’s sides to fall apart, but this time things have kicked off early.
Marseille are top of Ligue 1 and have had an exceptional start to the season, but things are not all well in the south of France.

According to reports, striker Andre-Pierre Gignac has had a training ground fight with team-mates Brice Djadjédjé.

The fight came in the wake of Marseille’s 2-1 loss to Rennes in midweek. They also lost at the weekend to Lyon and the double defeat has clearly created some frustration in the squad.

Dja Djédjé was sent off after a clash with Rennes player Paul-Georges Ntep and rumours in the France today suggest that this was this that has caused the conflict.

Gignac is apparently friends with Ntep and Djadjédjé was annoyed that his teammate had sided with the opposition player.

The 28-year-old himself is in fantastic form, with 10 goals in 11 games this term.

This form, combined with the fact that his contract runs out this summer, makes him an ideal target for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.

The fact that Gignac may have fallen out with some of his teammates makes a January move look even more likely.
