Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea has been named Manchester United’s Player of the Month for October.
The 23-year-old did not keep a clean sheet in any of his three appearances for the Red Devils during October.
However, he kept out a Leighton Baines penalty in a 2-1 win over Everton and made multiple key saves in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
De Gea topped a fan vote to be the award, beating off competition from Marouane Fellaini and Angel di Maria.
