The Blues have played 14 games in all competitions so far this term, winning 11 and drawing three.
However, Mourinho’s men still have away games at Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal to come, as well as some inevitably testing fixtures in the Champions League, once the tournament reaches the knockout phase.
At a press conference ahead of Saturday’s home match against Queens Park Rangers, Mourinho was asked if it is possible for his side to be invincible this season.
His reply was simply and decisive. “No,” he said.
