Glowing praise for Chilean following display against Burnley in Emirates Stadium victory.
Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez continues to impress with another stunning display leaving Arsene Wenger gushing with praise for his summer signing.
The Daily Mirror quotes the Gunners boss’s assessment of the south American after his two goal display against Burnley.
Sanchez has racked up ten goals in 16 appearances in all competitions since his £30m move to the Emirates Stadium and is fast becoming a fan favourite due to his never say die attitude, and it’s that determination that has been the most pleasing aspect of his game and is perhaps in marked contrast to another of Wenger’s big name signings, sidelined German Mesut Ozil.
Wenger chose to single out Sanchez for praise in his post match assessment of his side’s 3-0 win over newly promoted Burnley, stating;
“It was a top performance from Alexis Sanchez. His quality is exceptional, he takes responsibility and goes at people. He fights, he can score, that is what you want from great players.”
High praise indeed.
