Currently on loan with the Hammers from Barcelona, Song is considered a fantastic acquisition for Sam Allardyce’s team with many shocked he didn’t make the switch to a bigger club.

The Cameroon international has been in excellent form with his new club, even helping them to a historic win over Manchester City.

They have been one of the surprise packages this season, occupying the top four for a number of weeks. They were finally pushed out on Saturday following their 2-2 draw with Stoke and Arsenal’s dominant win over Burnley.

“I think my future will be here. My family, everyone is happy here. I’m very happy to come back to England,” he said.

“I’ve always said if I move from Barcelona, I’ll come to England and my future is here anyway. I just want to enjoy playing at the moment and we’ll see what is happening at the end of the season.”

Although he doesn’t actually state that he sees his future with West Ham, he seems to have fitted in well with his new teammates. He may also be enjoying being back in London, but could he refuse an offer from the likes of Liverpool or Manchester United if it came over the summer?
