Sami Khedira Arsenal transfer set to be free!
The Ivory Coast international has shown himself to be one of the most competitive midfield battlers in the Premier League for some time now, and has been linked on more than one occasion with a move to a bigger club.
Arsenal are known to be among his main admirers, but they will now face strong competition for his signature in the upcoming January transfer window as Rafael Benitez’s Napoli show an interest in his services.
The 28-year-old would seemingly be available for a price in the region of £16m, which could prove a bargain for a player of his experience and quality in that deep-lying midfield role.
Napoli are in need of signings in that area after missing out on several other top targets, and former Liverpool and Chelsea manager Benitez looks set to raid the Premier League in his quest to bring someone in.
It is claimed that the Italian side will open with an offer of around £12m, though this is unlikely to be enough to persuade the Magpies to sell.
