Emirates Stadium side look to land Spanish international forward.
Arsenal lead the chase to sign highly rated Barcelona striker Munir El Haddadi according to the Daily Star.
The 19 year old impressed since breaking into the Nou Camp side’s first team set-up during the club’s pre-season but the arrival of Luis Suarez, and the subsequent completion of his ban, have left the teenager warming the bench but a move out on loan in January appears to be likely.
Barcelona are keen for the forward to garner some much needed experience and Arsene Wenger is apparently keen to land the Spanish international.
Munir has made ten appearances this term and has impressed many with his lively displays and the starlet is rightly considered one of the hottest prospects in European football.
Arsenal have a fair few attacking options themselves with new signings Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck both starting their Gunners careers well. Lukas Podolski still struggles to secure first team starts whilst Theo Walcott has now made a long awaited comeback following nine months out injured. Olivier Giroud is currently sidelined with injury until the new year.
