The Roar currently sit equal bottom of the ladder with the Western Sydney Wanderers after losing its three opening games.

To add salt to the wounds, star playmaker Liam Miller sensationally quit the club last week, leaving some to suggest that Mulvey had lost the dressing room.

“That’s totally false. Absolutely 100 percent false,” Mulvey told Fox Sports.

“If you were at our training session two days ago you would know there’s a team out there that’s committed.

“They’re together. We lose together, we win together.

“The dressing room’s solid and the players are committed to turning this around.”

Brisbane will be aiming to get its title defence back on track when they face a David Villa-less Melbourne City on Saturday night at Suncorp Stadium.
