Barcelona’s Gerard Pique could be persuaded to choose Chelsea over Manchester United and Manchester City by his girlfriend Shakira, according to the Daily Star.

Pique’s pop star girlfriend would prefer a move to London over Manchester, and is hoping to convince the Spain star he would be happier in the English capital.
Shakira reportedly has a number of good friends in London whom she wishes to be closer to, including former Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas.
The 27-year-0ld is thought to be on his way out of the Catalan club sooner rather than later, with a number of Premier League clubs interested in securing the £30m man.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho sees him as a replacement for the ageing John Terry, and it seems Shakira, along with summer signing Cesc Fabregas, could hold the key to bringing Pique to London.
Louis van Gaal is also keen to bring him back to Manchester United, Pique being a player that the club hugely regret selling to Barcelona in 2008 for a measly £5m.
