Manchester United starlet defender Reece James has admitted that he is in no rush to secure a loan move away from the club and will wait for the right offer to come along before he considers moving on, the Daily Star reports.

Several Championship clubs have been interested in taking him on a short term deal, but he has said that he is in no rush to make an exit.

“There’s no rush,” he said.

“I’ve got to be patient and wait for the right club – and the right one for the manager here as well as myself.”

James made his debut during United’s shock defeat to MK Dons earlier this season, and hopes to be able to make his Premier League debut sooner rather than later.

“Fingers crossed, a Premier League debut is something I’d like to add to that but I don’t know when it could be.

“If that’s not a possibility, there might be a conversation about maybe going out on loan.

“I was at Carlisle [at the start of the 2013/14 season] but had an injury and ended up being out a lot longer than I thought I would be. It was a tear in my thigh so I ended up being out for eight weeks rather than three.

“They needed to get a replacement in so I just stayed here with the U21s instead.”
