Serie A giants eye White Hart Lane outcast.
Juventus and Inter Milan are both being linked with a surprise move to sign out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur defender Vlad Chiriches this January, according to Fichajes.com.
The Romanian international only moved to Tottenham last summer in what was seen as a promising move by the club, though he has not lived up to expectations so far at White Hart Lane.
The 24-year-old has only made two appearances in the Premier League so far this season, and may now be allowed to leave in January as he does not appear to be in the first-team plans of new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Juventus and Inter both want to sign defensive players this winter, with the two clubs seemingly identifying this as a problem position in both their squads based on performances so far this term.
It seems likely that Spurs could allow Chiriches to leave without too much fuss, particularly with the north Londoners bringing in new central defenders such as Eric Dier and Federico Fazio during the summer transfer window.
A move to Serie A could benefit Chiriches as he has perhaps struggled to cope with the quick pace and competitive nature of the English game.
