Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has handed a first Premier League start of the season to Harry Kane for today’s home game against Stoke City.
Kane is Tottenham’s leading scoring this term with 10 goals, but most of his game time has come in the Europa League and Capital One Cup.
The 21-year-old will start up front on his own against Stoke, with Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado both among the subs.
Stoke have named an attacking lineup, with Jonathan Walters, Mame Biram Diouf, Victor Moses and Bojan all starting.
