The 19 year old Spanish international has been dubbed the ‘New Neymar’ but has struggled to unseat the Brazilian in pursuit of a spot in Luis Enrique’s starting eleven and could be open to a temporary move away from the Nou Camp.

Munir has impressed since breaking into the first team set-up this term but with Luis Suarez now available after his lengthy ban it appears the teenager is likely to play an even more limited role at the Catalan club.

El Haddadi has a £9.4m release clause and Arsenal may see a loan deal as a good way to size up the player ahead of a possible permanent move for the Barcelona star.

Arsene Wenger is of course well known for his acquiring of young talents and given that neither Yaya Sanogo nor Joel Campbell have made the grade there may be room for a fresh attacking option such as Munir.
