The Spanish winger has been pushed down the pecking order by Luis Suarez’s arrival at Arsenal, and there have been reports in the last few weeks that he could hand in a transfer request to force a move. He’s technically good enough for Wenger, proven at the top level, and even better, he will likely be available relatively cheaply.
