(Image) Steven Gerrard Making Most Of International Retirement: Liverpool Captain Enjoys Merseyside Family Time

Posted by

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard decided to end his England career in July, after skippering the Three Lions at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

He made the difficult call in order to prolong his club career.

However, international retirement comes with other perks too.

For example, while his former teammates were preparing for this month’s double-header against Slovenia and Scotland, Gerrard was taking a “lovely stroll” along the River Mersey with his daughter Lourdes.

Since retiring from England duty, Gerrard has scored two goals and made one assist in 11 Premier League games.
