Manchester United Eye Move For Dazzling 14 Year-Old Ajax Wonderkid

United have scouted Dutch youth international Juan Familia-Castillo.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal may have pressing concerns for the present about the unbalanced nature of his squad and lack of defensive reinforcements, but that does not mean that he isn’t planning for the future, with the Mail reporting that United are eyeing up a move for 14 year-old Ajax wonderkid Juan Familia-Castillo.

Familia-Castillo played twice for the Netherlands Under 15 side against Belgium in recent days, with United representatives present at both games and seemingly impressed by what they saw from the forward, with the youngster having been integral to both Dutch performances in a 2-2 draw and 3-1 victory over their Belgian counterparts.

United are reportedly keen to look to the future and bolster the levels of quality and numbers in their academy teams as well as strengthening their senior ranks, with 16 year-old Timothy Fosu-Mensah also having been signed from the Amsterdam ArenA since van Gaal took over as manager.

Familia-Castillo, however, is already a player who is exciting the Dutch footballing public on account of some clips posted on the internet of the dazzling skills held by the fleet-footed forward, who is one of the gems currently on show in the much vaunted Ajax youth system.
