The midfielder went off after a collision with Eduards Visnakovs in the 20th minute of Sunday’s game. The collision involved a large blow to the 24-year-old’s knee. He was able to walk immediately afterwards, but still had to be substituted for Jordy Clasie. It has left the Dutchman as a major doubt for United’s match with Arsenal after the international break.

This adds to the Red Devils already burgeoning injury list. With David De Gea’s finger injury from Spain training it now means that nine players are confirmed as injured. Blind would make it ten.

Michael Carrick, Marcos Rojo, Rafael, Ashley Young, Phil Jones, Radamel Falcao, Jonny Evans, and Jesse Lingard are the other players to be currently injured.
