Not an even contest by any stretch of the imagination, but this game has to go down as one to remember as Manchester United absolutely humiliated Arsenal with an eight-goal show. Even Ashley Young managed to look good in this game, scoring two fine solo efforts to down an injury-plagued Gunners side who looked in a total crisis after this showing at Old Trafford. Interestingly, Danny Welbeck was on the scoresheet for United, while Robin van Persie pulled one back for Arsenal that afternoon, though the two players have since swapped clubs, with the former set to take on the Red Devils for the first time since leaving the club in a £16m deadline day move this summer.
