The Spanish giants are known to be long-time admirers of the Argentine forward, who has been one of the best attacking players in the Premier League since he made the move from Atletico Madrid to the Etihad Stadium back in 2011.

Aguero has won two league titles plus the Capital One Cup during his time in England, and it could now be that he will be brought back to La Liga after impressing Real president Florentino Perez.

The Champions League holders are thought to be considering letting Bale leave the club next summer, with both Chelsea and Manchester United recently linked as strong admirers of the Welshman, who previously starred in the English top flight with Tottenham Hotspur.

Still, Real are perhaps unconvinced by his performances at the Bernabeu, and want to bring in Aguero upfront as a replacement in Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded lineup.

Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Marco Reus is also mentioned as a top target for the club in that area of the pitch, in what could be an exciting transfer window for Real next summer.
