Real Madrid have moved ahead of their Premier League competition in the race for Norwegian starlet Martin Odegaard, reports the Express.

The La Liga giants have overtaken the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea in the hunt for Odegaard’s signature, and have offered the youngster a contract in an attempt to lure him to Spain.
15-year-old Odegaard has been sensational for current club Stromsgodset, and even made his full international debut against Portugal in September.
He will be eligible to sign a professional contract when he turns 16 in December, and Real Madrid are hoping to beat everyone to the punch and tie the youngster down.
With a player so young showing such quality, it is inevitable that he leaves the Norwegian Tippeliggaen soon. Liverpool looked to be a likely destination for the Scandinavian, but a move to Los Blancos may be too good of an offer for him to turn down.
