Arsenal target Sami Khedira appears to still be available after Bayern Munich dismissed links to the La Liga star…

Having stalled on signing a new contract, Khedira will be able to open talks ahead of a summer transfer in January. If Real Madrid want to avoid losing him for free then they will be forced to offload him in the upcoming winter transfer window for a knock-down price.
It was believed that Bayern Munich had beaten their rivals to his signature, but their recent comments prove that he is still up for grabs.
“These [Khedira] rumours are definitely not real,” said Bayern’s press officer Marcus Hoerwick.
Arsenal were hotly tipped to land the World Cup winner, with Khedira thought to be keen on linking up with former Real Madrid star Mesut Ozil again. His wages have always been a stumbling block however, and Manchester United and Chelsea may be both willing and able to trump any bid Arsene Wenger can offer.
It’s still possible for the player to do a U-turn and sign an extension with the La Liga giants, but the closer we get to January the less likely that scenario is looking.
