Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez almost came to blows with international teammate Gary Medel during their 2-1 defeat against Uruguay, reports the Daily Star.

The Gunners summer signing was involved in an explosive argument during the match, with his anger directed at Inter midfielder Gary Medel.
The former Cardiff City man was allegedly having an ongoing individual battle with Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, and was letting it effect his performance; at the expense of the team.
Sanchez was furious with his teammate for letting the team down, and when Uruguay scored he berated Medel for his part in the goal.
Both players were furious, and the pair continued to yell at each other until they were separated. They were allegedly close to coming to blows, which would naturally have resulted in bans for both players.
Alexis Sanchez has been in fantastic form for club and country this season, scoring eight goals in his last six games.
