England hit man determined to bounce back after injury hell.
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has vowed to comeback from his ongoing injury nightmare stronger than ever after his latest setback, according to the Daily Mirror.
The England forward hasn’t played for the Reds since August, and is set to be missing until the new year after picking up a new thigh problem.
After bagging 21 Premier League goals for himself last term, he absence has been a contributing factor to the club’s worst start to a league campaign in 22 years.
However, Sturridge has vowed to make his comeback stronger than ever, having decided to remain positive in the face of such adversity.
“Through all this I’m growing as a man and an athlete,” he said.
“Everybody goes through things in their life that can make or break them. This for me is just another hurdle to jump over. Another door to break down.
“I’ll be back soon enough strong and ready to play. Thanks to everyone for your support.”
