The 27 year old has made just one Premier League start this term and will be made available by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino for a fee of around £7m.

A move to the KC Stadium would see the wide-man reunite with former team-mates Jake Livermore, Michael Dawson and Tom Huddlestone and could help re-ignite the England international’s flagging career.

Pochettino wants to keep hold of attacker Andros Townsend, who is also something of a bit-part player at the north London club, and as such Lennon is certainly surplus to requirements with the likes of Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli all ahead of the former Leeds United man in the Tottenham pecking order.

Lennon moved to Tottenham in a £1m deal back in 2005 and has made a total of 358 appearances for the club, netting 30 goals in the process.
