In what has quickly become the blockbuster fixture of the competition, Western Sydney Wanderers play host to crosstown rivals Sydney FC in a clash that always has plenty of feeling in it.
The Wanderers will be desperate for a win to get its A-League campaign back on track after its winless start to the season, but there’s no doubt Graham Arnold’s side provides stiff opposition.
The Sky Blues are yet to lose a game this season and are structurally superb – miles ahead of last season.
Tony Popovic’s side have endured a rough schedule of late due to its Asian Champions League commitments, but have shown signs of improvement in their two draws with Central Coast and Newcastle.
The attacking quartet of Tomi Juric, Nikita Rukavytsya, Romeo Castelen and Vitor Saba are beginning to gel, and if they can put it together on Saturday they’ll cause real problems for the usually-sturdy Sydney defence.
