The Spanish attacking midfielder has been in superb form for Real this season, showing a big improvement on his first season at the Bernabeu and displaying the kind of talent that was seen in him as a youngster at his previous club Malaga.

While Real are highly reluctant to sell the talented 22-year-old, it is thought that £64m could be enough to persuade them to let him go, with the club possibly in need of selling more of their big names as they set their sights on some ambitious transfer targets of their own.

The likes of Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso also departed the Bernabeu this season, and the club remain well stocked in the attacking midfield department with the likes of Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez all options in Isco’s position.

It is thought that Isco could make way as Real look to bring in a more defensive midfielder such as Lucas Silva, while Bayern Munich’s versatile wide-man David Alaba is also on their agenda.
